Yet Another Sony Ericsson Paris P5 Prototype Photos
Since the first batch of Sony Ericsson Paris in the wild, gliatiotis in mobile-review forum has posted new set of photoshot on the upcoming Sony Ericsson slider phone.

Together with the photos, gliatiotis seems to have no interest on this prototype compare to the current sony ericsson models. He said, “To be honest after seeing that there has been almost no changes at the hardware level, I am not that interested to play around with it and it will probably end up next to G700 and G900.”
With this prototype, the following specification is confirmed:
-
5 megapixel camera
-
a-GPS
-
pre-installed google maps
-
WiFi
-
Bluetooth
-
2.6″ display screen
-
960mAH battery
-
qwerty keyboard / touch sensitive buttons
-
Widgets application
-
New browser version
-
Same camera application as in G900 with the ability to focus in any point the user touches on the screen
-
Newer UIQ version

Other comments include:
-
The media application seems to work slightly faster , ad the same goes for messaging , contacts and most of the commonly used applications .
-
The camera seems to be at least a little better than the one found in G900 without being the same with the one used in K850 . However , at least at this time , the phone’s software needs some improvement in order to be able to judge the lens/sensor’s performance .
-
As you can see in the photos , there is a dedicated icon in the main menu for the phone’s navigation capabilities . The WF navigator is a version of wayfinder that seems “tweeked” for this very phone .
-
a-GPS seems to be working the same way as in C702 .

The phone has an array of touch sensitive buttons below the screen however at least in the phone that i have in my hands are not litt properly and probably are not clearly visible in the photos . Most of them have something to do with the phone’s browser and there is a dedicated button that brings you back to the main menu with one press or brings up the task manager with a long press. Another one of them brings up the widgets application and there is a C/clear button that i find a surplus since there is a backspace button in the qwerty keyboard and you can always use the one found on the on-screen keyboard .
