Upcoming Acer Liquid A1 to Run with WVGA Resolution
Acer introduces its new smartphone “Liquid” series: to be the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor based and powered by Android OS 1.6. With the support of more display resolution in Android OS 1.6, the Acer Liquid touch screen will feature a WVGA (480 x 800) resolution and come with a 5 megapixel camera, HSPA and WiFi/GPS connectivity.

The company said that is has improved the power management to help achieve longer battery autonomy for intense users. It will also develope its own user interface instead of the usual Android UI for easy access to entertainment and web bookmarks, smart integration with Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Youtube in the address book. An exclusive Spinlets application will be preinstalled for free streaming of worldwide music and video, that can be shared with friends and family through web-posting or e-mail.
