Neonode Secures German Handset Distribution Deal
Swedish handset manufacturer, Neonode, has entered the largest market in Western Europe by securing a deal with Brodos, a German distributor. The company’s entry into Germany is facilitated by Sapera, a market entry and sales specialist.
According to a 2007 industry report by market research firm RNCOS, the German market comprises 25.6% of all handset sales in Europe.
Has independent mobile chain of 500 outlets, called my-extra, Brodos is the provider of major brands such as Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG.
The Neonode N2 will be sold in my-eXtra’s stores in beginning of May. Stefan Vitzithum, CPO at Brodos AG, said that Neonode N2 will be an attractive addition to their portfolio of consumer technology products.
