Amazon Wireless is one of those places you can go to pick up a new phone, whether that means unlocked, or by going the whole contract route. It’s been in business for awhile (since last July, when it launched as a Beta program), and we imagine that it’s been a pretty good service for the online retailer as a whole. If it weren’t, we probably wouldn’t be seeing things like this. Amazon Wireless is announcing today that they’re offering up 10 additional T-Mobile USA-based devices, all of the “bestselling” nature.

The Wireless online store is another location that offers up rebate-free shopping, which means that instead paying that $150 for a phone and getting $50 in the mail some time later in the year, you just go ahead and pay the $100 and call it a day. That’s great, because, let’s face it, mail-in rebates aren’t the best. In addition to offering up individual and family plan extensions, Amazon Wireless is also now offering up the ability to start a new individual and family plans. You can also choose to keep your phone number, or get a new one if you want. The devices are listed below:

• BlackBerry Bold 9700 – Titanium
• Motorola CLIQ Android phone with MOTOBLUR
• BlackBerry Curve 8520 – Black
• BlackBerry Curve 8520 – White
• Samsung Highlight t749 phone
• Samsung Gravity 2 phone
• HTC Touch Pro2
• T-Mobile 3G Dash Windows Phone
• Sony Ericsson Equinox phone
• Samsung Behold II (which is also an Android-based device)

As an introductory offer lasting until March 14, 2010, Amazon Wireless is going to waive the initial activation fee that plagues the first monthly bill for a lot of customers. That’s a savings of at least $35, so that’s a big deal. The only trouble with offering up phones online, especially for new customers, is that they’re not able to really play with the device before purchasing. We always, strongly suggest you use a device to find out if it’s for you before you buy.
